Where to begin! We loved every moment of our care and relationship with Dos Midwifery. I had known both Tiffany and Taylor before I became pregnant, so as soon as we began exploring home birth I knew they were who I wanted to work with as our midwives. I felt so supported physically and emotionally through all of our visits, the birth itself and post partum. I really appreciated their view on birth as both this natural experience our bodies are born to do yet also understand the anxieties and concerns that can come as a first time mom. They instilled a calm confidence within me. Their communication was excellent I was always able to send them a question or concern I had. When it came down to labor they were so responsive and arrived at our home in LA county in perfect timing. Throughout our pregnancy Tiffany and Taylor were both pregnant themselves and Tiffany birthed her baby girl a couple of months before me. It was incredible to witness them care for each other and me during this time. Birth is such an intimate and beautiful event I feel so lucky to have experienced it with Tiffany and Taylor.

The personalized care, and then how they showed up during my longer than average labor far exceeded my expectations. They are professional and knowledgeable, as well as warm and nurturing. It was an absolute privilege to receive care from Dos Midwifery for our third child. Tiffany and Taylor possess so much confidence, passion, and knowledge about pregnancy and birth and it is so evident in their care. My prenatal appointments were never rushed, were so incredibly thorough, & filled with laughter (which I desperately needed this pregancy). Every time I met with them, I left feeling so uplifted, empowered & nurtured. They both listened with care about any concerns or questions my husband and I had & made me feel seen and heard. The birth itself was the most magical experience & I could not have dreamed for it to have went any smoother. While I wasn’t anticipating a precipitous birth, the girls knew when we called them that it was probably best to come over and check things out (because third baby). Sure enough, I went into labor at 2:30pm & our baby girl made her debut by 5:30pm. After laboring by myself in our bath, I came out to the birthing tub filled in our living room with all the people I love surrounding me. Taylor & Tiffany always included our kids (ages 6 & 2) in our prenatal care, so the kids were laughing, performing for them, & helping them get set up. My son was even in the birthing tub fanning me before my husband popped in. I will never forget the girls guiding me to catch our daughter in the water (I was in such a zone that I didn’t even know I was crowning) & their calm demeanor when she needed a little extra love the first few minutes. My children had their stethoscopes out alongside them & they always made it a point to involve them. I look back on the photos from that evening & it brings me to tears thinking how supported & loved I was by this birthing team. The girls belly bind, encapsulate the placenta, and prioritize honoring the postpartum journey with nourishing foods and rest. I would have babies over and over again with Dos Midwifery. We highly recommend Taylor & Tiffany to anyone seeking a peaceful birth for their baby and themselves. They complement each other so well and we are not ready to say goodbye after our last postpartum visit this week. This birth changed our lives forever & we will always hold a special place in our hearts for them! ❤️

Absolutely amazing! I was apprehensive initially because they were young but after our first visit, my initial reservations vanished. Tiffany and Taylor were knowledgeable and spent the time to answer any of my questions as well as all of my wife’s. They communicated consistently with my wife throughout the pregnancy and were kind, intelligent, and very professional. When game time came, Tiffany and Taylor showed up and were patient, calm, kind, but kept a sense of urgency about what needed to happen. Our baby was delivered in our home - my wife is a super hero! - and Tiffany and Taylor not only cared for my wife to ensure the baby and momma were good, they had a keen awareness of my needs as a concerned father whose wife was having a home birth and our other children’s desires to know what was happening. The entire experience was a wonderful experience for our family thanks to the care of Tiffany and Taylor. Initially I was concerned but after witnessing the entire process and smooth delivery, I would recommend this duo to anyone considering a natural birth. They are amazing!

It’s been 3 weeks since our baby joined us earth side and I want to share my experience while the memories are still freshly embedded in my heart…I’ll start by sharing the struggles I had while searching for the “perfect” midwife for me and my baby. I had met with handfuls of qualified and amazing midwifes but something in my gut left me feeling unsettled.. It wasn’t until I met with Tiffany and Taylor that I truly felt seen, heard, and taken care of. It was an instant connection and I knew in that moment that I needed them on my birth team. To me they were the perfect duo.. Tiffany has extensive experience and knowledge as a practicing RN and midwife, and Taylor has incredible knowledge in homeopathy with a holistic influence to care. This was my dream team!

Throughout my pregnancy my partner and I grew extremely close with Tiffany and Taylor, which we now consider family to us. They always gave honest and unbiased feedback. They prepared us for birth by providing the best resources and advice. Tiffany and Taylor always made sure that I left our visits feeling empowered and confident physically, emotionally and mentally.

All the preparation leading up to our birth was about to pay off. The day I went into labor Tiffany and Taylor came over to my house with no hesitations. Here within the hour, they quietly made themselves at home without disrupting the calm birth sanctuary we had created. As the day progressed they supported, nurtured and reassured me through each phase. We had a beautiful & healthy water birth at home. It was everything we had dreamed of! We feel so grateful and blessed to have Tiffany and Taylor guide us through our pregnancy, birth and post partum journey.

My husband and I were so blessed to have Tiffany and Taylor be part of our pregnancy and postpartum journey! They were not only midwives to us, they were also educators, motivators, and with each home visit they became family! Even though we didn’t have a home birth, these ladies stuck through over 2 days of labor with us and when we transferred to our Kaiser hospital, these ladies called the facility to prepare our transfer and faxed over their impecable records over to the hospital. The Kaiser Drs and nurses were so impressed with how these ladies handled my care and transfer, that they wished all private business midwives would give offer the same level of medical care for patients and professional documentation for transferring hospitals.
When I returned home from the hospital, these ladies continued my postpartum care. They were helpful and timely with all my employers FMLA requests and California’s STD forms. If you're going to be a first time mom, a mom that wants TOP QUALITY prenatal care, or are looking for a one-of-a-kind birth team, don’t hesitate in selecting these two gifted and talented midwives as part of your birth team- you will not regret it!!! Today’s healthcare system unfortunately can not consistently give what these ladies put into your pregnancy journey. They will ensure a healthy baby, healthy momma-to-be, and even ensure your partner is feeling prepared and feeling part of the process as well. And that is service you will NOT get in majority of OBGYN offices. Many blessings to all those families expecting and don’t settle for the care you and your baby deserve.

We were expecting our first baby during the pandemic and were looking for someone to guide us through all of the unknowns for us. We interviewed over 17 doulas and we came across Tiffany and Taylor and we instantly felt a bond and so much love!

We are beyond grateful to Tiffany and Taylor for all their help, guidance, patience, attention, love and the strength they gave us during the most difficult time of our lives. They noticed an commonly overseen symptom my OB never took the time to discuss.

I am beyond grateful to have crossed paths with this special duo! From the moment I met Tiffany and Taylor, I felt a connection, and trust. They make an amazing team, both are sweet, intuitive, and reliable. I gave birth to my daughter on February 21st, 2021, and it was such an amazing home birth experience. I was encouraged to trust my body, and I was provided with guidance right when I needed it the most(hence why I use the word intuitive to describe them).

Just to share a couple of unforgettable moments of my daughter's birth, my eldest daughter was able to get in the pool with me prior to the real pushing, and right after giving birth; I got an amazing postpartum leg massage (using Dosmidwifery oils and Cypress essential oil), and they offered a natural herbal supplement to help ease any cramping. It worked wonders!!!

The truth is, I would have never been able to experience such a relaxed, and intimate birth at the hospital, especially with all the Covid regulations. Tiffany is an incredible midwife. She is thoughtful, patient, kind and she listens. I love how she listened to me. I was so anxious during my pregnancy and Tiffany calmed all my concerns with loving kindness and honest conversations about how to weigh each decision. I felt so empowered in her presence. She did such a great job sharing information so i could make empowered decisions. I also felt very safe to share my most vulnerable self with her. I love Tiffany and her sister so much! She came right in and became part of our family instantly. She was so gentle with my toddler the whole time, who was obviously present at every appointment. She is so good at reminding you you were made for this and yet, allowed your body to do what it’s supposed to do! During labor she was so calming and very hands off but intervened when needed, it was such a nice balance and her confidence made us confident. Her postpartum knowledge and care is amazing too! I’m so so grateful we got to hire her and had the birth of our dreams!She ended up doing a sweep at 41.4 so we didn’t risk out of care. I went into labor just a few hours later and baby arrived very quickly! It was such an incredible experience.

Dos midwifery was my saving grace. 38 weeks pregnant I was frantically looking for a midwife after having walked away with disappointment and crying from my OBGYN who told me I needed a c-section because I had a “big baby.” Having been committed to a hospital birth with a “natural” delivery and no meds was becoming a distant reality when my OB said my birth preferences were not realistic for my “case.”
Tiffany, on the other hand, the moment she met me she believed in me, my baby and my body! I knew I was capable of delivering naturally, big baby or not! She brought peace into my home and my decision of having a home birth so late in my pregnancy. Her professionalism and personal care goes beyond what words can describe. It was truly a miracle to have experienced birthing at home with the love that Tiffany brought with her.
